verbanski asked: hahaha i never took to the bourne series either. i wish i did. because it's a cool concept. but i don't. SIGH.

I like the Bourne trilogy! Or at least I really liked The Bourne Ultimatum! The second movie had so much shaky camera work that I thought I was going to barf. But the trailer for The Bourne Legacy doesn’t interest me in any context other than “AU where Clint Barton is trained in the Red Room!” (GREATEST CONTEXT, lbr.)

I mean, why does Jeremy Renner have two lines in a trailer for a movie that he is headlining? How is there more Bourne in this trailer than Cross? Why was none of that nerdy chromosome talk sexy to me? I’m hoping that one scene of shirtless Renner and Weisz leads to someone hacking off their hair in a motel bathroom and getting a bad dye job. THAT IS MY FAVORITE BOURNE TROPE. Otherwise, meh, put out a better trailer. Throw in more Ray from Damages!
