Game of Thrones Modern Day Political AUI wanna zero out and be born again
No more false starts and no dead end
Whereas others with less experience and shakier ideals have skyrocketed through the food chain, DA Robb Stark is slowly working his way up the ladder. He doesn’t want handouts even as his twin sister Sansa tells him that she could pull some strings. After all, it’s the least she’s owed after being a pawn in the failed merger between two political powerhouse families. Her husband, Joffrey Lannister, is an up-and-coming young senator groomed by his family to inhabit the oval office one day. Joffrey is a murderer hiding in a thousand dollar Armani suit, the troublesome morals of destroying a life rendered moot when all it takes is a snap of his fingers to get blood on someone else’s hands. What Joffrey lacks in charm, he more than makes up for in connections and influence. Nearly every move Sansa makes is watched, reported upon, and cataloged for damage control. The bars of her cage are guarded by The Hound, a former Navy SEAL and the head of Joffrey’s security team. However, much like her mother-in-law Cersei, Sansa knows how to get what she wants - Joffrey can’t win the election without her standing next to him, ever the loving wife full of enough warmth to distract voters from her husband’s dead eyes and lack of humanity - and willfully flaunts her power over his future by making no effort to hide her extramarital activities. Whereas her dalliances with other powerful men are well documented, the one relationship that no one knows about - the one that Sansa keeps so well guarded - is the inexplicable pull she feels towards Robb. As the political landscape rapidly shifts, the stakes get higher on the secret affair molded from guilt, anger and, yes, maybe even love. But with the clock ticking towards their downfall, the two learn that connections formed in the womb are not so easily severed and what follows is a balancing act between playing the game and playing it well.
Cersei deals with normal issues facing kids, such as what to do while under siege, how to use sex as a weapon, sibling rivalry, sibling romance, and drinking, confronting the issues as an independent freethinking queen.
