#actual death #this was AMAZING #it’s like everything has come full circle #and yet at the same time is completely different? #like just LOOK at the difference in her whole demeanour; from betrayed and humiliated to strong/sure and maybe even a little manipulative #i think my favourite thing about this whole thing is that we don’t KNOW what alicia’s intentions are at all #is she doing it to get back at kresteva? #is she doing it to show jackie who’s running the show? #is she feeling things for peter again? #WE DON’T KNOW #AND IT’S SO GREAT #AND I WANT TO DIE BECAUSE I LOVE ALICIA SO MUCH #and her character arc is glorious and complex and everything i ever wanted #this fucking show

Cleaning House

My favorite thing about this scene/episode was that both this and the confrontation with Blake afterward where she grabs his junk were actually COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE, not-exactly-adult ways to respond to any situation, so much so that even while I was still rooting for her, I was also thinking ‘wait this isn’t actually cool’.

but she did it because of the barest HINT of a threat to Alicia and/or their relationship, in fact that’s basically the only thing makes her fly off the handle like this, and then it’s just

FEELINGS ALL OVER MY FACE

is why i love this scene/episode.

Kalinda is a WH correspondent for the Washington Post. Cary was the WH Press Secretary until, motivated by his own political beliefs, he left to work for Peter, the leading candidate against Diane for the next Democratic presidential nomination. While Zach works as an intern for his father’s campaign, Grace becomes a volunteer for the Women’s Leadership Coalition after she accidentally publicly reveals Peter’s request that Alicia quit her job to support his candidacy.
