starkwinterfell asked: (1) Jo/Finnick would have been AMAZING. I spent all of books 2 and 3 hoping they would bone. Annie was such a waste of space and there was never any concrete reason why she liked her at all. In general book 3 was a bit of a waste of space in that the author was clearly bored of the series, so she skipped over writing any interesting scene by saying "then Katniss fainted." - (6) I read this fic where Peggy/Howard got married and her cover identity was Maria and it is now my headcanon. Perfect OTP
Annie was the discarded dishrag of people. Why did she exist? It certainly wasn’t to help move along the narrative or anything silly like that. If her purpose was to show that Finnick was capable of having feelings, they could’ve just plowed ahead with the Johanna romance instead of bringing in a lukewarm substitute that the writer didn’t even care enough about to develop into an actual character. Shit, Finnick/Mags had more chemistry than Finnick/Annie.
